Design can be Aesthetics
JEKE is a one man army. He has tremendous capacity for work and even though he may be very vocal about his feelings, he invariably delivers the goods. One can’t take away from his relentless pursuit of work, his ability to work long hours and with a keen sense of focus. JEKE also has the unique ability to push people around him to receive loads of feedback and provoke some sort of action out of it. I would openly admit that his push-back kept me on my toes in Ahmedabad and perhaps led to many initiatives/actions for the clients and the talent which works in Ahmedabad. When someone spends close to three decades in an institution, no words are enough to bid the person goodbye.
JEKE is an institution in himself. He has seen the highs and lows of ‘Mudra Ahmedabad’ from the early days of the agency being set-up, all the way till it became a 100% multi-national agency. He has seen many cycles of business and knows talent and clients over decades. Perhaps, he also had the good fortune of working with talent across a few generations. He is a virtual Wikipedia on Mudra and played a big role in bringing alive the legacy of the agency when Mudra Towers went through a major facelift.
1987. I started working in Mudra Communications with Mr. Subrato Bhowmick, one of India’s most famed art directors abroad for the poster designs, was also working on Vimal Suitings and Sarees brand. Then I started working on other brands like Rasna, Dhara Oil, Symphony Air-Coolers, Harmony Furnishing Fabric, Graffiti Designer Tiles, Ajanta Home Appliances, Van Huesen, Nirlife Healthcare, EverYouth, Paras Pharma, Gujarat Tourism, TGB, Zydus Pharma, Reliance Mobile, Bsafal, Century Ply, Adani, Derewala Jewellers, Arvind Apparels, Nesta Furniture, Sintex Plastics, Sintex Yarn, GSL Yarn, Tirupati Oil, Dudh-Sagar, Amul, Phoenix Mall, Rotomac pen, TMT Bars Helonix Bulb, Trichup Cosmetics, HOF Furniture and many more... On 20th January 2017 I left Mudra as Sr. Creative Director and started my own dream called JEKE DESIGN AND ADVERTISING.
